The Carriage House

As you journey towards the Goodstone Inn & Restaurant, allow the Carriage House to greet you warmly as the heart of our property. Offering four distinct suites, each one beckons with luxurious amenities. The Dutch Cottage

Step into the charming Dutch Cottage, a delightful stone house situated amidst the forest's edge. Take advantage of its convenient location within walking distance of the pool, lobby, bar, and restaurant. Indoors, discover two Queen-bed suites, a fully equipped kitchen, and a welcoming living room with fireplace – providing all the essentials for a cozy and tranquil retreat.

The French Farm

The French Farm Cottage is beautifully adorned with chic country decor. This inviting retreat features two communal living rooms, a communal kitchen, and three Queen-sized bedrooms. Just a leisurely 15-minute stroll from the Carriage House, the French Farm Cottage offers a serene back patio with a grill and fire pit, providing the ideal setting to unwind with friends.

The Bull Barn

Experience unrivaled privacy at the Bull Barn, also affectionately known as our Honeymoon Suite. This enchanting space features a king bed, a spacious living room, and a dining area, creating the perfect setting for an indulgent getaway. Enjoy charming nods to days gone by with the bull stanchions meticulously worked into the design of the space.

The Manor House

Discover the splendor of Goodstone's Manor House, a historic and expansive retreat. The Manor House boasts four guest rooms: two with king-sized beds and two with queen-sized beds. The kitchen caters to culinary enthusiasts, while the dining room sets the stage for elegant entertainment. Enjoy a generously appointed living room, complemented by an adjoining piano parlor. With cozy seating areas, a formal dining room, and a tranquil sunroom, prepare for a lavish and serene stay.

The Spring House

Our historic Spring House is located just a short five-minute drive or a peaceful twenty-minute walk through the countryside. This cottage features 4 bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom. Complete with a spacious kitchen and dining area, perfect for hosting gatherings.

Helpful information to plan your escape to Goodstone Inn & Restaurant

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check In Time is 4pm. Valid state issued photo id, credit card, phone number and email address are required at check in.

Check Out Time is 11am.

Early Check In and/ or Late Check Out may be available (based on room type availability) for a fee. Please confirm availability with Guest Services.

Please return your key to Guest Services or a non-refundable replacement charge of $25 will be applied to the credit card on file.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a deposit equivalent to the first night's stay when booking to secure your room reservation. Final payment is due upon departure.

For cancellations between 14 days to 2 days prior to arrival, your deposit can be applied as a credit towards a future overnight stay within one year.

For cancellations within 2 days (48 hours) prior to arrival, your deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of their deposit.

What is the maximum occupancy in your guest rooms?

Our rates are based on double occupancy, and we appreciate advance notice for any additional guests so that our housekeeping team can make the necessary preparations. There is a fee of $125 plus taxes per person, per night for any extra guests.

The base occupancy per accommodation is as follows:

Carriage House (2 guests per room)
Dutch Cottage (4 guests - 2 guests per room)
Spring House (8 guests - 2 guests per room)
Bull Barn Cottage (2 guests)
French Farm Cottage (6 guests - 2 guests per room)
Manor House (8 guests - 2 guests per room).

What is included in my stay?

During your stay, we offer complimentary House Breakfast entree, coffee, tea, and orange juice daily, served in our Bistro from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Additionally, we provide bottled water, refreshed daily in each Guest Room. You can request turndown service in the evening. Wi-Fi is available in the Carriage House and all our Cottages for your convenience.

Do you welcome children at the inn and restaurants?

Do you welcome pets at Goodstone?

With advance reservation, pets are welcome in designated accommodations (excluding Hayloft Room, Spring House, Manor House). A non-refundable fee of $150 plus taxes for suites and of $250 plus taxes for cottages will apply. The pet policy applies to dogs and cats. Pets must be crated when unattended at all times. Acknowledgement of pet policy is required.

Do you have a pool at Goodstone?

We do have a heated, saltwater outdoor pool at Goodstone that has seasonal availability. Our Goodstone Inn pool is currently open from 9am - 8pm daily and is subject to closure for private events. Goodstone is thrilled to offer poolside food and beverage for purchase daily from 12pm - 7pm. Please note that there is no lifeguard present at any time. We welcome guests aged 14 years and older to enjoy the pool. For younger children, we highly recommend the nearby Middleburg Community Center pool for their safety and enjoyment.

Does Goodstone offer a shuttle service?

Since Goodstone is situated on a sprawling 265-acre estate outside Middleburg, we highly recommend having a personal vehicle for off-property outings and transportation between the cottages and the Carriage House, where our restaurants are located. Unfortunately, we do not provide a shuttle service on the estate or local attractions. However, we can gladly recommend a local personal driver for any off-property excursions, such as wineries, that may require a designated driver.

Do you allow smoking on the property?

For your comfort, we offer only non-smoking guest rooms. Smoking is only permitted in outdoor spaces. If a smoking violation occurs, a $250 non-refundable cleaning fee will be assessed. We appreciate your cooperation.

Guests who wish to rent a guest room or cottage must be at least 21 years old. Moreover, guests who are under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 or older. If you have children who are 14 years or older, they are allowed to stay in our guest rooms, but you will need to pay extra occupancy fees and applicable taxes.

Please note that the Conservatory only allows guests who are 18 years or older. On the other hand, the Bistro welcomes children of all ages, provided they are accompanied by an adult who is 21 years or older.

Goodstone Inn & Restaurant invites you to join us for a day visit to the pool. Come and relax at our heated, saltwater pool overlooking the rolling pastures of our 265-acre property. We offer poolside food and beverages daily from noon until 7 pm.

Pool availability is weather dependent and open seasonally.
