Whitewater Rafting
BTI- Join BTI Whitewater for tubing, whitewater rafting,
canoeing, and duckies (inflatable kayak rentals) on
the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers in the Tri-state
area of West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland.
Hiking
Sky Meadows State Park-The Park has more than 12
miles of hiking trails ranging in difficulty from
moderate to hard. In addition, the park offers access
to the Appalachian Trail.
Banshee Reeks Nature Reserve-Open to the public Saturdays
and Sundays from 8 am to 4 pm.
Horse Country Activities
Great Meadow Gold Cup and Polo- The Virginia Gold
Cup is one of the oldest organized steeplechase races
in the United States. The course is four-miles over
four-foot post and rail timber fences across the rolling
hillside of the Virginia Piedmont. The races are held
twice annually, The Virginia Gold Cup in May, and

-Middleburg Spring/Fall Races-Held just a mile down
the road Glenwood Park Racecourse hosts the races
in April every year. The fall races are held in early

-National Sporting Library- The National Sporting
Library is a state-of-the-art, non-lending research
facility dedicated to the world of horse sports, shooting,
and fishing. It is open to the public and admission
