 Watch the leaves go from green to yellow to red in the fall, a time when our landscape is a moving picture. Explore our grounds by mountain bike, or by foot. Board and ride your own horse on our grounds, or have the staff connect you with a nearby equestrian center for horseback riding in Virginia. If you’re hunting for antiques, downtown Middleburg is just a short drive away.

Winter
Our hiking trails are a beautiful way to experience a winter wonderland. After your walk, warm up with complimentary afternoon tea, which is served from 3 - 5 p.m. in the Carriage House. Relax and watch a video in your room from our extensive video library. Also, local wine and home baked cookies are conveniently located in each kitchen.
At the Estate, the following activities can take place at no charge:
