The Manor House
Whether you come to our Virginia bed and breakfast for pleasure or business, the Manor House will make you feel exceptionally welcome. Built in 1943 by financier Frederick Warburg, this gracious historic guesthouse features the Harriman Room, Master Room, Mosby Room and Stuart Suite.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a large fully equipped kitchen with butler’s pantry, an elegant and expansive living room with wood-burning fireplace and Steinway baby grand piano. Featured in Southern Living Magazine, the large exquisite dining room offers a wood burning fireplace and a striking wrap around Zuber wall mural. Stunning details such as inlaid, hand-carved woodwork and handsome crown molding and chair rails create a rich ambiance. An octagonal parlor room with card table has a unique hidden door leading to the Stuart Suite.
A private terrace and sun lounge offer breathtaking views of the rolling pastures and the Catoctin Mountains in the distance. No matter what time of year you visit our Middleburg country inn, the view of horses grazing in the meadows and abundant native Virginia wildlife in the woodlands will soothe and restore you.
